Guilherme Cobbo

Guilherme Henrique Cobbo ( born October 1, 1987 in Urai, Paraná ) is a Brazilian vaulter.

Career

Cobbo participated in the Junior World Championships in Beijing in August 2006. As 11 of the qualification he missed qualifying for the finals.

In April 2009, he first jumped in a competition in Medellin, the height of 2.20 meters. In 2011 he won the silver medal at the South American Championships in Buenos Aires. On June 2, 2012, he jumped in São Paulo with 2.28 meters, the height qualification for the Olympic Summer Games in London. He improved his personal best by doing six inches and was only four inches below the Brazilian record of Jessé Farias de Lima. In the 2012 Olympics he failed with skipped 2.21 meters in qualifying.
