Guilherme Santos

Guilherme Oliveira Santos, short Guilherme ( born February 5, 1988 in Jequié ) is a Brazilian football player who is under contract with the Brazilian first division club Atlético Mineiro.

Playing career

Guilherme began his career as a football player in the 2007 season, the Brazilian first division club CR Vasco da Gama, where he had already played in youth. With only 19 years he was a regular in the first Brazilian league and played 24 games without a goal to achieve.

After the season, which ended in December, joined the Brazilian defender to the Spanish first division promoted UD Almería. After he was for a long time been used infrequently, he came in the season 2009/10 frequently used. With the start of the 2010/11 season he was loaned to Real Valladolid, which was relegated to the Segunda División straight.
