Guissény

Guissény ( Gwiseni Breton ) is a commune in the north- west of Brittany in the département of Finistère. The seaside resort on the English Channel coast has 2026 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). Brest is 28 kilometers (km ) south of Paris and about 500 km to the east. On the eastern municipal boundary of the flow Quillimadec empties into the Bay of Guissény.

In Brest there is the next departures of the highways E50 and E60 direction Rennes to Nantes.

The station is the terminus of Brest regional railway lines and the TGV Atlantique to Paris. 20 km south of the community at Brest is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
