Gulf Coastal Plain

The Gulf Coastal Plain is a region in the United States. It is the area between the southern Texas over the Florida Parishes in Louisiana and two-thirds of Alabama to the Florida Panhandle. Furthermore includes portions of Tennessee and Kentucky to do so.

The forests are dominated by pine species Pinus elliottii and Pine Swamp in the south and Pinus echinata in the north dominated. Furthermore, frankincense pine occur.
