Gulf of Venice

The Gulf of Venice (Italian: Golfo di Venezia, Slovenian: Beneški zaliv, Croatian: Venecijanski zaljev ) is a bay in the northern part of the Adriatic.

The coastline of the Gulf extends from the delta of the Po to the part of Istria Istria. In the bay next to the Po lead another large rivers, such as the Tagliamento, the Piave, the Adige and the Brenta. The Gulf of Trieste is part of the Gulf of Venice. At the bay bordering the three European countries Italy, Slovenia and Croatia.
