Gunild Keetman

Gunild Keetman ( born June 5, 1904 in Elberfeld, † 14 December 1990 Breitbrunn am Chiemsee ) was a German composer and music educator, developed especially by the in collaboration with Carl Orff was known " Orff -Schulwerk ".

Life

Gunild Keetman was born in 1904 as the daughter of a wealthy family in Elberfeld; the worn 1981 House Keetman was her parents' house. Together with four siblings, she received early musical training.

After two semesters in Bonn and Berlin, she moved to Munich, where she worked at the " Günther School " with the combination of music and movement.
