Gunmoney

Gunmoney, German canon of money is the name for a number of coins in the name of James II (England), during the invasion of his French support Army were produced from June 1689 to October 1690 from the metal of old cannons and other scrap parts, with the commitment, this later convert back into silver money. These were first at sixpence, shilling (12 pence ) and Half- Crown coin ( two and a half pence Shilling/30 ).
