Günter Felke

Günter Michael Felke (* November 4, 1929 in Laufersweiler; † 22 March 2005 in Mainz ) was a German entrepreneur, numismatist and promoter of culture in the Hunsrück.

Life

Günter Felke was born as the youngest son of the Hunsrück entrepreneur Michael Felke and his wife Maria, born colonel in the community Laufer hamlet in the Hunsrück. Shortly after his birth he moved with his family to neighboring Sohren, where his father built a Möbeproduktionsunternehmen. He attended Duke Johann -Gymnasium in simmering, which he left early in 1948 to take up his work in his father's furniture Felke works.
