Günter Reich

Günther ( Günter ) Empire ( born November 22, 1921 in Legnica, Legnica today; † January 15, 1989 in Heidelberg ) was a German -Israeli baritone who, above all, as an interpreter of the works of Arnold Schoenberg in cooperation with Michael Gielen and Pierre Boulez is known ( Moses und Aron, Kol Nidre, A Survivor from Warsaw).

Reich came from a Jewish family. 1934 left this Nazi Germany and settled in Palestine.
