Günther Mund

Günther Otto mouth Borg ( born 1934 in Germany, † March 27, 2011 at Melipilla, Chile ) was a German - Chilean diver and entrepreneur.

Life

Günther mouth was the son of Arthur mouth ( Halberstadt SV) and Margret Borgs, which were internationally successful diver and participated at the Olympic Games in 1928 for Germany. After their marriage, the family emigrated to Chile in World War II.

Mouth represented as a 14- year-old Chile in the water jump at the Olympic Summer Games 1948 in London, where he finished in 26th place in the art of jumping from the 3- meter board. The games of 1956 in Melbourne, he won in the same discipline from the 7th Place and 10 - meter tower on the 19th Place.

Mouth was trained physical education teacher and completed a postgraduate course in Germany. He was a member of two swimming clubs in Cologne and Dusseldorf. He specialized in the construction and operation of saunas, steam rooms and swimming pools. In Santiago de Chile mouth ran a spa consisting of swimming pool, sports and fitness studio, spa and beauty center.

Mouth died in a flight accident, as it controls the small plane 15 minutes after takeoff near the city of Melipilla, about 90 km south of Santiago de Chile, crashed.
