Guram Tskhovrebov

Guram Jassonowitsch Zchowrebow (Russian Гурам Ясонович Цховребов; * July 14, 1938 in Staliniri, South Ossetian Autonomous Region, † 1998) was a former Soviet footballer of Ossetian origin.

Life and career

Guram Zchowrebow in 1938 in the South Ossetian Staliniri, today Tskhinvali, was born. He was enthusiastic about early for football and attended in his hometown a sports school before you recognized his talent and him. Dinamo Tbilisi, the then most successful club from the Caucasus in the Soviet League 1957 belonged Zchowrebow Although the squad of Dinamo, however, were no inserts in the first team. He left the club and therefore moved in 1958 to the second division Torpedo Kutaisi, where he would remain until 1963. There, the defender completed 57 league games and managed in the 1962 season even move up to the highest Soviet league.

1964 Zchowrebow was finally obliged again Dinamo Tbilisi, where he was to spend the most successful part of his career now. He stood nearly six years in the squad of Tbilisi and played more than 150 league games. In 1964 he was even Soviet champion with his team. 1971 moved to Metallurg Rustavi Zchowrebow, where he end his career. 1973 to 1974 he coached Spartak Tskhinvali in South Ossetia his homeland. He died in 1998.
