Gustav Brühl

Gustav Ernst Brühl ( born June 18, 1871 in Berlin, † November 21, 1939 ) was a German otologist.

Career

Brühl received his education in Vienna and Freiburg with Adam Politzer and Bloch and at the Anatomical Institute of Emil Zuckerkandl.

He received his doctorate in 1894 and worked from 1898 in Berlin as audiologist. He habilitated in 1903 and was appointed professor in 1908. He performed histological studies of the organ of Corti and worked for otosclerosis.
