Gustav Schürger

Gustav Schürger (* January 4, 1908, † June 10, 1969 ) was a German water polo player.

Gustav Schürger of Bavaria 07 Nuremberg was already at the European Championships in 1927 for the German national team, but remained without a medal. Only at the European Championships in 1934 Schürger was there again and finished with the German team to second place behind Hungary.

Was also at the 1936 Olympics Schürger in the German squad. The German team won all the games up to the game against Hungary, which ended with 2:2. Hungary was due to the better goal gold medal, Germany won silver. Schürger was used in six games
