Gustave Kahn

Gustave Kahn ( born December 21, 1859 in Metz, † September 6, 1936 in Paris) was a French writer. In 1887 he published a collection of poems Les Palais Nomads. Together with Jules Laforgue he was an early proponent of poetry in free verse. In addition to poetry, he wrote novels such as Le Roi fou, Le Cirque solaire, L' Adultère sentimental and Le Childebert, short stories and the play La Farce polychinelle.

Kahn was in the 1920s, chief editor of the magazine Zionist menorah.
