Guts (game)

Guts ( in German as much as Mumm ) is a team sport played with a 125 gram Frisbee. Two teams of five players are in a parallel formation over. The distance between the teams is 14 meters. The players stand in a row on each so that touch the finger tips of adjacent players at arm's length.

The aim of the game is so hard to throw the disc to the opposing team that no player can catch them one-handed. A point obtained when the disc is not caught or not handed. In contrast, the opposing team gets a point if the disk was not thrown into the lock-in range. Before the disc touches the ground or is caught, it must be held high by typing in the air, to be later caught by another player. The player may move freely after the first contact with the disk.

Usually the team that reaches 21 points wins. In a variant of over three sets, a set is won when one team has earned 15 points.
