Guy II of Montlhéry

Guido II called Trouffle / Trousseau, (French: Gui de Montlhery; † after 1110) was Lord of Montlhery and Chevreuse out of the house Montlhery.

He was the son of Milon I of Montlhery and the Viscountess Lithuise of Troyes. His younger brother was Milon II of Montlhery. To distinguish him from his uncle, Guido the Red, Count of Rochefort, he is also known as Guido III. referred to.

Guido took part in the First Crusade, but where he deserted during the siege of Antioch and returned to their homeland. Abbot Suger reported that Guido was completely dishonored it ejected from the feudal society. Because he could not take part in the crusade of 1101 for health reasons, his father and uncle moved with to restore the family honor; the father died there, which Guido inherited his rule.

From his marriage with the lady Mabille Guido had a daughter named Elizabeth. To 1104, he agreed to their marriage with the king's son Philip of Mantes, where he also gave the castle Montlhery. The last time Guido is mentioned in a document issued in 1110 by the Notre Dame Abbey Longpont -sur -Orge.
