The Gwangju World Cup Stadium is a football stadium in the South Korean city of Gwangju and has hosted some matches of the Football World Cup 2002. It offers visitors 44 118 seats at.

In the meantime, the venue wore the name of Guus Hiddink, in honor of the coach who helped the South Korean national team to come for the first time in the history of the semi-finals, it was renamed. The semi-finals by beating Spain succeeded in this stadium.

Since 2011, the Gwangju FC plays its home games in the arena. The franchise currently playing (2013 ) in the K League Challenge, the second- highest division of South Korea.
