Gweedore

Gweedore ( so English, officially and in Irish: Gaoth Dobhair ) is a town and an administrative district in County Donegal. Gweedore is located 50 kilometers north of Donegal Town and 50 kilometers west of the Northern Ireland city of Derry in a Gaeltacht region and has about 5,000 inhabitants (as of 2006) officially the largest Irish-speaking parish in Ireland.

The Mount Errigal, with 749 m the highest mountain in County Donegal, is located in the district of Gweedore.
