Gwen Jorgensen

Gwen Rosemary Jorgensen ( born April 25, 1986 in Waukesha ) is an American professional triathlete and Fixstarterin at the Olympic Games in 2012.

Career

Gwen Jorgensen rose in 2010 in the sport of triathlon and secured in the first year seven top ten places. At the University World Championships in Valencia Jorgensen won silver and was awarded the title United States Triathlon Rookie of the Year.

At the World Championship Series triathlon in London (6th August 2011) Jorgensen finished second and secured himself a permanent starter - place finish at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Gwen Jorgensen completed a master's degree and pass the CPA exam. She works as an auditor with Ernst & Young in Milwaukee, where she still lives.

Currently she is in third place in the World Cup racing series in 2013, the ITU (as of July 9, 2013 ).
