Gwendolen Guinness, Countess of Iveagh

Gwendolen Florence Mary Guinness, Countess of Iveagh ( born July 22, 1881February 16, 1966 ) was a British politician ( Conservative Party ).

Gwendolen Florence Mary Onslow in 1881 as the daughter of William Onslow, 4th Earl of Onslow, born and his wife Florence Coulston Gardner. On October 8, 1903, she married Rupert Guinness. The marriage produced five children. In 1920 she was admitted as a Commander in the Order of the British Empire. After her husband in 1927 the title of Earl of Iveagh inherited, she led the Countess of Iveagh salutation, without, however, even as to be noble. Another consequence was that they were the direct successor of her husband, this was the Earl of Iveagh now changed to the House of Lords, was elected in the constituency of Southend -on-Sea in the House of Commons and that of 19 November 1927 until the November 14, 1935 belonged.
