Gymnocladus
Antler tree Gymnocladus dioicus
The antlers trees ( Gymnocladus ) are a genus of flowering plants of the family Leguminosae ( Caesalpiniaceae ). To this genus, which is closely related to the Gleditschien include only three species. These have their natural range in North America and East Asia.
Description
Gymnocladus species are deciduous trees. Remarkable are its very large, bipinnate leaves.
The greenish- white flowers appear only after long periods of warm weather. Are formed very long pulses, which hang from the branches. The species of this genus are mainly distributed endochor.

There are only three Gymnocladus types:
- Burmese antler tree ( Gymnocladus burmanicus CEParkinson )
- Chinese antler tree ( Gymnocladus chinensis Baillon )
- Kentucky Antler tree or Schusserfruchtbaum, Schusserbaum, American coffee tree ( Gymnocladus dioicus (L.) K.Koch )
