East Asia

East Asia is a subregion of Asia in the east. Its boundaries relative to the adjacent metropolitan areas are drawn differently.

Large model and small model

The geographical delimitation of East Asia is controversial. The "small " model this includes that part of Asia, which is under the influence of the extra-tropical monsoon.
