György Bródy

György Bródy ( born July 21, 1908 in Budapest, † August 5, 1967 in Johannesburg) was a Hungarian water polo player.

Bródy took for the first time at the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles in part, in which he, after victories over Germany ( 6-2 ) and America ( 7:0 ) with his teammates Ivády Sándor Márton Homonnay, Olivér Halassy, József Vértesy, János Németh István Barta, Alajos Keseru, Miklós and Ferenc Sárkány Keseru won the gold medal.

Four years later, was Hungary, having won all four preliminary round games, with France and Germany in the final round, which was Hungary decide for themselves. Bródy brought, together with the teammates Kálmán Hazai, Márton Homonnay, Olivér Halassy, Jenő Brandi, Mihály Bozsi, James János Németh, István Molnár, György Kutasi, Sándor Miklós Taric and Sárkány, his second gold medal.
