Hadley Fraser

Hadley Fraser (* April 21, 1980 Robert Hugh Fraser actually ) is an English theater and film actor, director and musician.

Life

Hadley Fraser grew up near Windsor in the small village of Binfield. He studied at the University of Birmingham, where he graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts. After he graduated from 2001-2002 to study singing at the Music Theatre of London's Royal Academy of Music. In 2011 he became a member of the Royal Academy of Music ( ARAM ).

His debut as a musical singer gave Hadley Fraser directly after his studies in 2002 as Marius in Les Misérables at the Palace Theatre London. On Broadway he made his debut in 2007 in the role of Tiernan in the world premiere of The Pirate Queen of the musical writing team Alain Boublil / Claude -Michel Schönberg. Further stations of his musical career on the stage include, among other things, The Pirates of Penzance, Palace of Winds, the Stephen Sondheim musical Assassins and Pacific Overtures and the chamber musical The last 5 years at the Aspen Theatre, Colorado.

In May 2010, Hadley Fraser returned with the musical The Fantasticks to London's West End. In October 2010, he played the role of Grantaire the occasion of the great 25 -year-old anniversary concert of Les Misérables at The O2 Arena London. From June 2011 to June 2012 he again took a role in Les Misérables, this time as Inspector Javert. During this engagement, he also sang in October 2011, the role of Raoul in 25 -year-old anniversary concert of Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall in London - a role which he had until then never played.

In Tom Hooper's Les Misérables film adaptation, he played in a small supporting role the officer of the National Guard ( "The Warning ").

In 2013 he played as part of the Chichester Festival in the musical The Pajama Game. He then took over in the world premiere of Matt Charman 's stage play The Machine that has Garri United Civil Front Garry Kasparov 's chess match against the computer Deep Blue in 1997, the content, the main role and came with the piece first before the Manchester International Festival and later in the year in New York.

As of December 2013 Hadley Fraser will be seen in the role of Tullus Aufidius at the side of Tom Hiddleston and Mark Gatiss in William Shakespeare's play " Coriolanus ".

His film and television roles include the U.S. film productions, The Lost Tribe and Convincing Clooney, the first season of the musical children's series The Fresh Beat Band as well as a series of the British television series Doctor Who. First experience as a director was Hadley Fraser at the Norris Theatre, Los Angeles, gather in the productions Once Upon a Mattress and The Laramie Project.

As a singer, Hadley Fraser is heard among other things on the albums Keys and Scott Alan LIVE the American songwriter Scott Alan as well as on the concept album of the musical The In-Between. Together with his friend and partner in various stage musicals (Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera ) Ramin Karimloo, he has a band called Sheytoons that occasionally occurs publicly in London.
