Hägersten-Liljeholmen

Hägersten - Liljeholmen is a municipality in Söderort, one of the three main municipalities of Stockholm. The other two are Stockholms innerstad and Västerort.

The municipality comprises the districts of Fruängen, Hägersten, Hägerstensåsen, Mälarhöjden, Västertorp, Liljeholmen, Aspudden, Gröndal, Midsommarkransen and Västberga.

Hägersten - Liljeholmen was formed on 1 January 2007 from the two previous districts Hägersten and Liljeholmen.

Fruängen

The name of the district comes from a farm that was located on the site of today's municipal center. In the fifties of the 20th century originated here modern buildings and a shopping center. All roads in Fruängen were named after major Swedish women. In the district also ends a line of the Stockholm Metro.

Hägersten

The district Hägersten was an independent district until 1 January 2007.

Hägerstensåsen

Mälarhöjden
