Hairpin lace

The technique of hairpin lace serves fine ribbons and trims to work. Used to be a special two-pronged fork and a crochet hook. The yarn is wound into large loops around the fork tines, and in the middle of the loops are held together with crochet stitches. Here, the tine spacing determines the width of the tape.
