Håkon Mjøen

Håkon Mjøen ( born November 5, 1944 in Oppdal ) is a retired Norwegian alpine skier. He drove slalom and giant slalom.

His best result in the 1967 inaugural World Cup Skiing is a second place, situated at January 14, 1968 at the Lauberhorn in Wengen slalom. There are also a third place in February 1968 in the slalom in Oslo and six other placings in the top ten. Before the introduction of the World Cup scored Mjøen including a second place in the slalom the 3- Tre- race 1966.

At the 1968 Olympic Winter Games Mjøen was after the first run of the slalom in tenth place and sat down in the second race to the top. As it turned out a few minutes later, Mjøen had omitted two goals in the dense fog and the supposed Olympic champion had to be disqualified.
