Hamburger Theaternacht
The Hamburg Theatre Night is a networking event where present, almost all private and government Hamburg theaters for one night. The event has existed since 2004 and is organized by the Association of Hamburg eV theater. With the Hamburg theater night the theater season opens across after the summer break. She is the vollumfänglichste joint event of the Hamburg theater, making the diversity of the landscape from Hamburg theater like no other. With special buses and Alster ships the visitors of theater is driven to the theater.

From the proceeds of the Hamburg theater night the prize money for the Rolf- Mares Prize of the Hamburg theater financed since 2006. The Rolf- Mares Prize of the Hamburg theater eV is also organized by the Hamburg theater. Since 2005 creating theater artists for the theater night the Hamburg theater cup - a limited edition collector's item, the proceeds of which also the Rolf- Mares- price benefits. Theater programs also take place off-stage, eg on an open-air stage at the Hamburg Jungfernstieg or on the Alster ships. In changing venues, theater producers and guests meet for joint farewell party.
