Hamid Merakchi

Hamid Merakchi (Arabic حميد مراكشي; born January 28, 1976 in Ain Temouchent ) is a former Algerian football player. He graduated four games for the Algerian national team.

Merakchi began his career at ES Mostaganem in Algeria and moved to Turkey in 1998. In 2000 he returned to Algeria and played at various clubs from now on. In the national team he made his debut on 2 October 1998 in a Afrikacupqualifikationsspiel against Uganda (1:2). The following year he scored in a game against Liberia his first two goals for the national team. Most recently, he came on June 20 in the return match against Uganda for use, where he also scored two goals.
