Hanako, Princess Hitachi

Princess Hanako Hitachi (Japanese常 陆 宫 正 仁 亲 王妃 华 子, Hitachi -no- miya Hanako shinnōhi; born July 19, 1940 as Hanako Tsugaru (津 軽 华 子) ) is a Japanese princess.

She is the fourth daughter of Yoshitaka Tsugaru. She studied at Gakushuin Women's Junior College and graduated in 1961 from the owner. They became engaged and married on September 30, 1964 Prince Hitachi, second son of Emperor Shōwa. The couple has no children.

Princess Hitachi is president of various organizations which are concerned with the welfare and the arts, such as the traditional floral art of ikebana. She also has several children's books from English into Japanese.
