The Swedish School of Economics (Swedish: Svenska Handelshögskolan ) (also known as Hanken ) is a Swedish-speaking business school in Finland with offices in Helsinki and Vaasa. The college was founded in 1909 and 1980 expanded the campus in Vaasa.

There are approximately 2,400 students enrolled at the university, of which 500 study in Vaasa. In addition, about 130 scientific staff at the college are active.

Most courses are taught in Swedish, but the number of lectures in English is growing. The university uses the European Credit Transfer System and since 2000 has been EQUIS certified.
