Hanna Falk

Hanna Falk ( born July 5, 1989) is a Swedish cross-country skier.

Sporting career

After good results at junior level Falk was first nominated at the age of 18 years for a World Cup competition. In March 2007 she launched the sprint competition in the domestic Stockholm. However, they failed in 49th to clear the qualification for the finals. At their first Junior World Championship 2008 in Malles she reached the semi-finals in the sprint competition and finished at the end of the eighth. About 5 km classic was 27 and on the 10 km freestyle ( mass start ) 23 With the Swedish season, she won the silver medal behind Norway. In 2009 she reached the sprint finals at the Junior World Championship 2009 in Le Praz -de- Lys Sommand and missed a fifth place just her first individual medal. After a 30th place about 5 km freestyle she could again win the silver medal with the Swedish team. At the beginning of the 2009/10 season Falk was nominated for the Spintteam the Swedish World Cup team. Immediately upon their first use in Kuusamo they survived the qualification and missed in their semi-final barely a place in the final. With the seventh place she won for the first time in her career World Cup points. A week later, she competed in the World Cup in Dusseldorf. There they reach with their total third World Cup start until the final round, where they experienced a surprisingly prevail against Natalya Korosteljowa and Vesna Fabjan. After their first World Cup triumph she was also beaten in the team sprint together with Ida Ingemars yolk only of the Italian team. In the season 2011/12 she was unable to repeat their usual services, in February a bacterial infection was found to be the cause.
