Hanne Hiob

Hanne Job ( born March 12, 1923 as Hanne Marianne Brecht in Munich, † June 23, 2009 ibid ) was a German actress.

Life and work

The daughter of Bertolt Brecht and his first wife Marianne Zoff grew up with her mother and her second husband Theo Lingen. She was Tanzelevin at the Vienna State Opera. As a dancer and actress, she then worked in Salzburg. After her marriage to the Berlin physician Joachim Job in July 1948, she took on his name.

In the world premiere of Brecht's Saint Joan of the Stockyards, she played in 1959 under the direction of Gustaf in Hamburg the title role of Johanna. She was involved in numerous theaters, including Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Vienna and Berlin as an actress. She also starred in films and television dramas with.

She ended her stage career in 1976, but has since been active in Brecht readings and street theater projects, such as the " anachronistic train " (1979, 1980 and 1990).
