Hannele Tonna

Hannele Tonna (née Valkonen, born January 3, 1978) is a Finnish ski - orienteer.

At their first World Cup in Sweden in 2004 Valkonen was from Norway Second on the long distance behind Stine Hjermstad Kirkevik. With its rural women Erja Jokinen and Liisa Anttila, she won the relay competition. Followed in 2005 by a bronze medal in the relay and 2007 in Russia, she was again, this time behind the Russian Tatjana Vlasova, Second on the long distance, as well as runners-up with the Finnish relay. With the season they won the European Championship the following year. At the 2009 World Championships, she won the sprint competition, 2011 Tonna was with the women's relay third parties. At the European Championships in 2012 she won the race over the middle distance.

Tonna starts for the club Hanka Hanka pastures of Central Finland where she is coached by her father Paavo Valkonen. Married she is with the Norwegian ski - orienteering Eivind Tonna. For the club Asikkalan Raikas it starts in the summer orienteering. In 2007 she won with the club season, the Venlojen viesti.
