Hanns Kreisel

Hanns roundabout ( * July 16, 1931 in Leipzig ) is a German mycologist and retired high school teacher. His botanical and mycological author abbreviation is " centrifugal ".

Life

Gyro was a professor at the University of Greifswald. His field is the classification of fungi, which he studied this group of organisms not only in Germany, but in almost all parts of the world, as in Brazil, Seychelles, Vietnam, Cuba and Syria. So it is the first time succeeded with his staff to develop a scientifically sound and current fungal flora of Yemen. Gyro is incidentally also a specialist in fungal groups of the abdominal mushrooms.

Another specialty gyro are subfossil fungi of which he has studied and worked example research material from the excavation of the Oceaneum Stralsund.

Gyro was also editor of several international scientific journals.
