Hans Clemer

Hans Clemer, called the master of Elva ( * before 1480 in Aix -en- Provence, † 1512, in Piedmont ) was an Italian painter of French origin, in and around Saluzzo was active mainly in Piedmont. His work is associated with the Flemish- Burgundian school. His main work is considered the cycle of frescoes in the church of S. Maria Assunta of Elva. Until the 1980s it was conducted under the Notnamen Master of Elva. Mario Perotti Clemer identified as the Master of Elva.
