Hans-Dieter Tippenhauer

Hans -Dieter Tip Hauer ( born October 16, 1943) is a former German football coach.

Biography

Under Tippenhauer, previously assistant to Dietrich Weise, Fortuna Dusseldorf played 1978/79 their best season since the championship title in 1933 and was at the end of the season DFB Cup winner. In addition, guided by Tippenhauer Fortuna the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup with 3:4 lost on May 16, 1979 at Basel St. Jakob-Park after extra time against FC Barcelona.

In the first division Fortuna Dusseldorf celebrated the famous Bundesliga victory of their history when they defeated Bayern Munich on 9 December 1978, 7:1.
