Hans G. Jensen
Hans G. Jensen ( born March 13, 1856 in Horsens, Denmark, † September 7, 1922 in Oslo) was a Norwegian politician and trade unionist.
Life
Jensen was after his work as a pioneer and activist of the Norwegian Labour and trade union movement chairman of the Norwegian Labour Party ( Det norske Arbeiderparti ) 1888-1889.
He was also the founding chairman of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions ( Landsorganisasjonen i Norge) 1899 until 1900. From his position as Chairman of ( Landsorganisasjonen i Norge) he joined after quarrel back to the form of organization of trade unions.
The dispute concerned the question: "Regional industrial unions or Professional Organizations".
