Hans Hagen (footballer)

John " Prince" Hagen ( born July 15, 1894 in Fuerth, † October 11, 1957 ) was a German football player.

Career

The midfielder, but was later used as a defender who came from FC to SpVgg Fürth Fürth Plucky. With this club he enjoyed great success. Hagen was as spirited and grim, but was driven runs strong and elegant in ball control.

In 1920 he came with the Fürth already down to the final of the German Cup against 1 FC Nuremberg, which was then lost with 0:2. For Hagen, who as a " keepsake " a facial scar remained from the First World War, but it was enough this year also to be able to compete for the German national team for the first time.
