Hans-Jörg Leitzke

Hans -Jörg Leitzke (* December 27, 1960 ) is a German football coach and former football player.

In his playing days he rushed for BSG Chemie Leipzig and local rivals locomotive Leipzig ( 1985-1989 ). Leitzke matches played in the top flight of the GDR, in fdgb Cup and European Cup. He stood with Lok Leipzig, among others in the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1987. As a striker, he scored decisive goals in his career.

From 2000, he worked as a coach at FC Sachsen Leipzig. There he coached the second team in the national league. In September 2003, he was briefly responsibility as interim coach for the first team, which was playing in the Regionalliga. As of August 2004, he was also assistant coach of the first team. On 19 October 2005 he took over the "chemistry" as a successor to Wolfgang Frank the office of the head coach. This office he had to leave on 5 October 2006 to Eduard Geyer and moved to the assistant coach post. As Geyer was dismissed in July 2007 for financial reasons, Leitzke was re-appointed head coach. 6 May 2008 Leitzke was dismissed as coach of FC Sachsen. From July 2009, takes over as coach of Leitzke Thomas Köhler at VfB Pössneck in the Football Oberliga Nordost.
