Hans-Jürgen Bäsler

Hans -Jürgen Bäsler ( born March 28, 1938 † 6 August 2002) was a German football player. He played 17 Bundesliga games.

Career

Bäsler began his athletic career as a boxer in the Neukölln sports friends. In 1958 he moved from the youth team into the contract League Team of Tasmania on 148 games in which he played until 1963. Sepp Herberger also recognized the talents of the stopper and appointed him in 1959 for the international match against Yugoslavia where he sat on the bench. In the Berlin city league Hans -Jürgen Bäsler won with Tasmania 1900 in the years 1959, 1960 and 1962 the championship. He came to the final tournament of the German championship on 15 missions. On 29 May 1960 he lost with " Tas " the game at the Olympic Stadium in front of 88,000 spectators against 1 FC Köln 1:2 gates. He made mostly with Horst Talaszus the defender pair. Trivia

Bäsler had learned the trade of a mason. After finishing his professional career as a football player, he was only used car dealer and owner of a confectionery business until he was finally working as an insurance agent. He died on 6 August 2002.
