Hans-Jürgen Gede

Hans -Jürgen Gede ( born November 14, 1956 in Gelsenkirchen- Ückendorf ) is a German football coach and former football player.

As a midfielder Gede counted from 1975 to 1977 for the Bundesliga squad of FC Schalke 04 During these two years he played for the Gelsenkirchen 33 games ( two goals) in the Bundesliga and in 1977 with Schalke runner-up. He then moved to Preußen Münster.

Between 1981 and 1991 he played 285 games in the 2nd Bundesliga for SC Fortuna Köln, there became one of the best midfielders in the second league history and earned himself rightly his nickname " Zico ". With the SC Fortuna Cologne, he was also in 1983 in the DFB Cup final that went just unlucky against city rivals FC Cologne 1 lost.

On January 24, 1992, he followed as manager of Fortuna Dusseldorf on the day before the dismissed Rolf sheepfold. On March 25, 1992 and thus only two months after he had been committed as a coach, he was released by the club from the capital of North Rhine - Westphalia. He was succeeded until then as sports director working with the people of Düsseldorf Horst Koeppel. In the season 1996/97 Gede moved to KSV Hessen Kassel, where he was made redundant early. Previously, Gede had worked for several years mainly in Asia (mostly in the Middle East ) as a football coach. In September 2008 he became coach of the Azerbaijani club Neftchi Baku; be Cotrainer there was Rob Reekers. In March 2009, he was just twelve league and three cup matches, of which his team won only five total, dismissed. Is on the recommendation of his German colleague Hans R. Emser, the Technical Director of the Thai Premier League clubs Bangkok Glass FC, Gede changed in July 2009 as head coach to Okkthar United a Premier League Club of Myanmar. Bangkok Glass FC and Okkthar United have completed a partnership.
