Hans Krell

Hans Krell (* 1490 in Crailsheim ();? † 1565 in Leipzig ) was a German painter of the Renaissance.

Hans Krell is first in the King of Hungary ( to about 1526) environment, then in Leipzig ( from 1531) or in Freiberg in Saxony (since 1534) detected. He stood as a " painter prince " among others in contact with the Margrave George of Brandenburg -Ansbach, called the Pious, Duke Albrecht of Brandenburg -Ansbach in Prussia and the Elector Augustus of Saxony.
