Hans Marr

Hans Marr, born Johann Julius Richter ( born July 22, 1878 in Breslau, German Empire; † 30 March 1949 in Vienna, Austria ) was a German actor.

Life

He began to study art history, but then took acting lessons and made ​​his debut in 1897 at the Royal Theatre in Berlin. His other stage stations were Gotha and Görlitz (1898 ), Breslau (1901 ), Graz (1902 ) and Cologne ( 1904).

In 1905 he came to the Lessing Theater in Berlin, finally caught up with him in 1914 Hugo Thimig at the Burgtheater in Vienna, where he apart from the period 1919-1924 was a member until his death.
