Hans Moldenhauer

Hans Moldenhauer (* April 10, 1901, † December 29, 1929 ) was a German tennis player.

He was next to Daniel Prenn the best German tennis players of the 1920s and played 22 times for Germany in 1927, 1928 and 1929 in the Davis Cup. He won 11 games in single and double 3 games.

1926 and 1927 he was an international tennis champion German victories against Walter Dessart and Willy Hannemann. In 1928, he lost in the final against Daniel Prenn. With Cecily Aussem he 1925 German champion in mixed doubles.

Moldenhauer played for SV Zehlendorfer wasps and the LTCC Rot-Weiß Berlin.

He died in late 1929 as the result of a car accident when he collided with a tram. His grave is located on the southwest Stahnsdorf.
