Hans Neuschäfer

Hans Neuschäfer ( born November 23, 1931 in Dusseldorf ) is a former German football player.

Career

Neuschäfer began his career at TuRU Dusseldorf. In 1953 he moved to Viktoria Aschaffenburg, for the inside forward in the Oberliga Süd went hunting for goals. For the team from the stadium on Schönbusch he scored 27 goals in 53 league games. In 1956 he returned to the Rhineland and joined Fortuna Dusseldorf on. In the DFB-Pokal in 1957 he reached the final of the Club, but which has been lost by a goal from Rudi Jobst 0-1 against Bayern Munich. For the Fortunen he came in two years to 38 mirror inserts Oberliga, scoring 17 goals. In 1958 he opened a textile business. Later he went as a player ( Grasshoppers Zurich, FC Lugano and FC Biel) and coach in Switzerland, where he oversaw the FC Biel among others. After his return to Germany he worked at SC Viktoria Köln and as youth coach at Fortuna Dusseldorf, where included, among others Allofs, Ralf Dusend and Rudi Bommer to his protégés.

Neuschäfer debuted on November 21, 1956, along with Horst Szymaniak in the German national team. In the 1-3 defeat against Switzerland he succeeded the consolation goal. However, this use was his only game. Neuschäfer also played two B- internationals.
