Hans Stuhlmacher

Hans Albert Alexander Louis Carl Stuhlmacher ( born May 16, 1892 in Lüneburg, † February 26, 1962 in Walsrode ) was a German pedagogue, a Wehrmacht officer and local historian.

Life and work

Hans Stuhlmacher, was born on 16 May 1892 in Lüneburg, the son of Friedrich Lange directional clerk chair -maker and his wife Emma, née Ebbeke. On November 11, 1915, he and Margaret Klinkhardt married. The couple had a son (Hans Georg ).

End of 1940, Hans Stuhlmacher was convened for the second time the Wehrmacht. He was discharged with the rank of Major in late 1943. Stuhlmacher was for many years rector of the higher boys' institution in Walsrode and circle curator of the then district Fallingbostel. Shortly before the publication of history of the city Walsrode ( September 1962 ) died Stuhlmacher.
