Hans-Walter Eigenbrodt

Hans -Walter Eigenbrodt (* August 4, 1935; † 29 March 1997) was a German football player, former defender for Eintracht Frankfurt. From the main profession he was a clerk.

Career

The defender played since 1948 in Concord, with which he won the German championship in 1959 and reached the final of the European Cup of Champions 1959/60 in 1960, but there lost with 3:7 against Real Madrid. In 1965, he had to end his career due to disability sport. In the first Bundesliga season, he played for the Frankfurt but still 15 league games.

Later he worked as a youth coach at Eintracht Frankfurt. In 1977, the team coached by him first German Junior B champions.

He died on 29 March 1997 at the age of 61 years.
