Hansen (crater)

Hansen is an impact crater on the far eastern edge of the lunar front side, east of Mare Crisium and northeast of the crater Condorcet. The crater is little eroded and has pronounced terraces and a central mountain on.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the German astronomer Peter Andreas Hansen.
