Happy New Year is a Swiss film by director Christoph Schaub from the 2008 production of the Zurich T & C movie was filmed from December 2007 to January 2008 and received four nominations from the Swiss Film Prize Quartz. Best Feature Film, Best Screenplay, Best Original Score and Best Actor ( Nils Althaus ). The film tells the stories of ten people at a New Year's Eve. Thus, five different storylines exist that connect in some places by accident.
Action
Happy New Year follows five different storylines that all play on New Years Eve. Gloria is left by her husband in the agreed venue for the New Years Eve dinner and strikes the taxi driver Kaspar, who had chauffeured in the afternoon. Kasper knows his way with acute love fiasco, as it has also just left his girlfriend. The loner Pascal has to watch his aversion to the girl next door Karin. Zoe spends New Year's dear with her friend Sabrina and Oskar in the mansion of his father than with her alcoholic mother Christina. The retired couple Herbert and Anne -Marie is looking for his dog, who has run away from the crack of firework rockets. And the policemen Nina and Oliver are New Year's Eve together on patrol.
